Candidate Pledge

All citizens must have the benefit of a responsive government

where decisions are not made in the shadows, where there is

equal access for all people to government services, and where

phone calls are returned.

As a Councilmember, I will:

• insist on transportation improvements and planning, especially in the

South Hill and Frederickson areas.

• fight to prevent the expansion of the landfill at 304th and Meridian.

• work to give Graham residents a voice in their destiny either through a

Community Advisory Board or supporting outright autonomous government

(incorporation).

• support law enforcement and communities in battling crime and illegal

drug use.

• work to secure County sustainability and agricultural preservation.

• work to secure park facilities and funding in my district.

• insist that Planning and Land Services locate personnel in Eatonville at

least one day a week to meet the needs of local residents.

Leadership is about more than just warming a seat.

My Pledge...

...is to return access and credibility to the voters

and lead through hard work and honest concern.

I will not ignore issues nor pander to special groups

merely for favor or finance.
