Dear Neighbor,
There are singular moments in time that define our communities; the County Council election in 2008 is just such a time.
Critical decisions affecting transportation, growth, schools, farm preservation, parks and business development will be guided and implemented by the Pierce County Council.
Only through strong leadership and compassion will the right decisions be made to ensure that Pierce County remains a place where people choose to live and raise their families.
I have made a personal commitment to see that our community, my community, is a better place to live and work, that future decisions are made with regard to posterity, and that forethought in planning for tomorrow takes a precedent over short term thinking.
Having spent thousands of hours volunteering in the community, including time as a Pierce County Planning Commissioner and as a School Board member, I have coalesced an appreciation for what works and where the County needs to go to ensure a livable, sustainable tomorrow.
My life, my work, my family, my commitment to the community gives me the experience to help guide us through the promising years ahead.
I ask for your vote for Pierce County Council District 3.
